Quaife limited slip differentials with a lifetime warranty!
With this special differntial, which blocks gradually and evenly up to 80%, you achieve a much more controlled and even acceleration - and thus even more driving pleasure! With more grip, the acceleration is of course also faster, which really matters!
Most BMW owners have probably tried to accelerate a little to hard out of a curve on a slightly wet road, where the rear end suddenly spins out of control because one wheel "spins" and the other is stationary! With a Quaife LSD, you still have the slip, but it will come much more evenly and controlled, as the Quaife LSD automatically transfers power to the wheel that is not "spinning" so that you always have an optimal "grip"!
It is not without reason that all BMW's M-models are equipped with limited slip differentials, on the earlier models you could also order your BMW with a limited slip differential - but after ASC / DSC etc. became standard, those could no longer be optional - now they are exclusively reserved for M-models! The reason for this was probably that BMW believed that it was no longer necessary to have a slip differentials on the standard models, since ACS/DSC etc. stepped in and prevented the uncontrolled slips. But if you want to use the full potential of your BMW, it requires a slip differentials. You now have this option with a Quaife LSD retrofit kit!
